Introducing the 2024 Knox Esports Summer Camp!
Looking for something to do over the summer break? Want to improve your child’s computer skills while they are out of school? Then join us for the the 2024 Knox Esports Summer Camp! For 8 weeks, Knox Esports will be hosting several classes ranging from getting better at video games to learning important skills like social media, typing, and even coding video games themselves! Take a look at the following classes!
Week 1: Fortnite
June 3rd - June 7th
Want to learn how to get better at Zero Build? Looking to rock out on the Festival Jam Stage? Ready to take to the roads and beyond in Rocket Racing? However, you play Fortnite, week 1 is going to be dedicated to Epic Games’ massive experience hub!
Week 2: Coding, Typing, & Keyboard Tips
June 10th - June 14th
Almost everyone knows how to use a computer, but learning how to type well and make the computer do exactly what you need it to are special skills that needs to be developed. This week is dedicated to those skills!
Week 3: FPS Gaming
June 17th - June 21st
With a wide range or First Person games out there, learning the basics is essential. From Halo to Call of Duty to Counter-Strike and everything in between, week 3 is focused on this great genre of games!
Week 4: Minecraft
June 24th - June 28th
Minecraft turns 15 years old this year, and with constant updates, the massive worlds of Minecraft yearn to be explored or created. That’s why week 4 is going into the mines of Mojang’s classic!
Week 5: General Gaming
July 8th - July 12th
With so many games out there, it takes a lot of time and dedication to learn how to get good on so many of them. If you’re looking on how to get started, look no further, because week 5 is offically your one stop to get primed for any game you wanna play!
Week 6: Basics of Game Design
July 15th - July 19th
Playing games is fun, of course, what did you know that making games can be just as fun as well? Learn the basics of how to design and create games in week 6 of our summer camp!
Week 7: Roblox
July 22nd - July 26th
Roblox is one of the largest hubs for gaming content! From amazing games from creators of all ages to the platform to make money building your own games, week 7 of our camp will have our sights set on it!
Week 8: Streaming & Social Media
July 29th - August 2nd
Livestreaming video games is fun, but can be a daunting task, not to mention getting an audience. Luckily, week 8 will help with streaming on social media sights and talk about social media itself!
